At United Power Washing, we only use the best quality, premium paver and stone sealants. On average we see our finished product last from 3–7 years. Some factors such as foot traffic, use, maintenance and the weather can play a big role in the longevity of a properly sealed area. Keep in mind that sealing your hardscape is preventative and requires maintenance and regular cleaning to ensure its durability.

On average we recommend allowing the sealant to cure for 24-48 hours for light foot traffic, and up to 3 days for an area where vehicles will drive over. This is to make sure the sealant adheres and bonds properly and to not cause a failure pre maturely.

Pricing is charged by the square foot and there are a few variables that go into our pricing structure. The first being square footage, a 5000 SqFt driveway may cost half the price per SqFt compared to a small 400 SqFt patio. The bigger the area, the less price per SqFt, the next factor is the type of surface, are we sealing brick? Concrete? Travertine tile? Each of these materials have a different porosity and will use up a different amount of sealant.
